DOG FRIENDLY

DOG FRIENDLY

We love dogs and we are very happy to welcome friendly adult dogs and their owners.

Powdermills Bed and Breakfast in Inveraray is ideal for dogs. It has slate floors with rugs and direct access out into our secure 10-acre garden. We have established routes around the grounds that are perfect for an early morning or early evening walk with your dog.

WE CHARGE AN EXTRA £10 PER DOG, PER STAY.

If you want to walk your dog off-lead you can drive south to Ardcastle, and park in the forestry commission car park. It is a 15-minute drive and has miles of off-lead walking.

Ships scuttling in and out of the Ferry Terminal.  Oban is the hub for the Islands.  Trains from Glasgow and vessels to […]

To Portavadie and beyond!

11 January 2019

In early December we decided to drive to Glenbranter to purchase a large Christmas tree from the Forestry Commission.  Powdermills Bed and Breakfast in Furnace, Inveraray has a wonderful window facing down Loch Fyne that can take a large Christmas tree – we settled on 10 feet but it could have been 20 feet but […]

Inveraray Jail

27 November 2018

Inveraray Jail looks stunning with the scenic backdrop of […]
